The Toys search page does advanced searches of toys with keywords in the toy name, user1 (sometimes used to store old toys or changed toy numbers from a previous system), manufacturer, storage, keywords fields. The search page also filters on toy category, age, location (for multi-location Libraries), and attributes.

It works the same as the previous version, with subtle differences. You no longer have to press carriage return after entering your keywords in the search box, just start typing and wait. If you tab from the search box it will still filter on these keywords. A click into the search box will clear the contents.

Only toys with a toy status = ACTIVE or PROCESSING are displayed on this page.

Attributes are a way to formalize your keywords, they can be used to categorize or allow for better searching on say Fine Motor, or Construction toys that basic category filters don't find. For example you might want to find a construction toy to “Stretch my Brain”

1. Left click into the search box will clear contents
2. Left click on “Clear” will reset all filters and search criteria.
3. Left click on the row, will show more toy detail at the top of the page (hover will show a different background color)
4. Print Button (RHS upper Corner) will show the traditional report functions that will allow you to select and open pdf reports. The Add to Print List button allows you to select
5. Hover over the View button will show a picture of the toy.
6. Left click on the View button will go to the toy detail page
